Jenny + Matt

Ok so I totally got spoiled on this session. We had great weather, great (!) light and a stinkin' awesome couple who just rocked it for me! I can't believe I have to wait a whole year to shoot this wedding!!

Jenny is so gorgeous - she is going to be one smokin' bride!

Trying out some textures, I love it! what do you think??

Outside the apartment where they met... :)

ok ok ok.. THAT'S the light! YUM!

We went to this cute little bar in the Central West End to end out the night.

I so can't wait for the wedding. Thanks again for a great session!

Niki and Justin are Married!

Niki and Justin were married on September 29th at St. Wenceslaus in St. Louis. Its got to be one of the loveliest old churches I've seen lately! All followed by a beautiful fall-themed reception at River Bottom Saloon.

Check out that train!

One of my favorite kiss shots - maybe ever!

Ha.. got another! I love this - with attitude. ;)

Congratulations!! I can't wait to start on your album! (I'm starting to post my pictures at full blog-size now! Enjoy!)

Amanda and Jeffrey

Amanda and Jeffrey were married on September 2 at The Falls in Columbia, IL. It was a gorgeous day and perfect for an outdoor wedding. Amanda was so much fun that day which makes for some awesome happy pictures!

This was something about the 'worst cell phone picture ever'.. :)

O...M...G How much do I love eyelashes that go on forever...!

Gettin' my flare on

And she's laughing again. :)

Ok so the day of the wedding we didn't get much time at all to take pictures of just Amanda and Jeffrey after the ceremony so I told them we could meet up after their honeymoon for a quick 'we did' session in the wedding clothes. It gives me some great creative time and they get a few more pictures of them together as newlyweds!

So stinkin' happy. They were making each other laugh the whole time! i love it!

mmmmmmmm....moody.

Congratulations, you guys! I hope you love your pictures and call me when you have the smiliest babies ever! ;)

Madeleine Christine

Madeleine Christine is one month old today, so I had to post a few pictures I did for mom (my husband's cousin) when she was just a week old! She'll grow up so fast... I love capturing that time when they are so small.

I've been tagged!

A lovely little tagging game going around photographer blogs.. I'm supposed to post 8 things people might not know about me...
hrmm.....

1. I hate tomatoes. Gross... seriously. ok most people DO know this about me but, really, they just ruin food for me if I find them in there.

2. I danced on high school and college dance teams for 6 years. I was even in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1998!

3. I originally went to college to be in the medical field. Both my parents are RN's so it seemed like a natural thing to do. I soon changed my mind. ;)

4. I have the same birthday as Jessica Simpson. (only she's a year older)

5. I lived and worked at a 30-slot boarding stable in college. I had my own little house (w/a roommate for a bit) and fed and kept an eye on up to 20 horses at a time. I still have the riding boots.

6. I'm a snob about sheets on my bed at home. 600 thread count or more. I got some and can't go back.

7. I'm really not that into Christmas. I don't really even put up a tree. I hate the pressure of obligatory gift-giving. I'd rather it be like Thanksgiving where we all just get together and share a big meal and be grateful to be together.

8. People think I look like someone famous. Most of the time now, its Helen Hunt. I don't see it. One time I got Jewel. And when I was a kid I got 'Stephanie' on Full House.

And now I'm going to tag my girl Lisa!

Congratulations Rachel and Andy!

Andy is from upstate New York and brought all his buddies down to endure St. Louis in August! :) But I don't think anything could've ruined their day. Rachel and Andy got married at the Rachel's home church of St. Luke the Evangelist and had an awesome fun reception at Windows Off Washington.

Trying out a 100mm macro lens.. whatcha think?

wooooo.... i love the feel of 'finding light'

And what do you do when the DJ only brings one light bar in a room painted black??? Use it!!

Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day! I hope the summer weather is better in NY! :) And thanks also, to my second shooter Matt! He got some awesome stuff!
