First Snow

I'm generally not a fan of winter. I'm a summer girl. I hate being cold. Snow is great to watch falling and coating the land in a lovely sea of white... from the comfort of my heated living room. And don't get me started on driving in it. ugh. But after the snow/ice storm that went through last night, I had to get up this morning and get a few shots of the ice-covered outside.

The sun was shining through the ice on this bush and made it look like red and green lights!

It doesn't look like a lot but the wind was blowing around so it didn't have time to stay in one spot.





Lovely display.. but I still don't like winter.

Show chickens???

My husband and I were driving to his mom's house for Thanksgiving when we got behind this tractor trailer. Nothing unusual about it until I read the CAUTION line on the back. It made me giggle and I had to take a picture.

Ana's 9 months!

Seems like only yesterday I was posting about Ana being 6 months old... When in fact it was 3 months ago! :) I love the fall colors and I'm so glad we got to do this great shoot outside before it got too cold here.

Grace and Bobby

Last Sunday I got to shoot a couple of the greatest kids ever! (And I'm only a little partial because they're my step-sister's kids. ha.) We had so much fun, I really enjoy spending time with them. Hey, maybe I'll get to photograph Grace's wedding! :)

They did such a great job!


I'm not sure why but I just love this image.

Congratulations Jill and Skye!

My dear friends Skye and Jill were married on Sept. 9th and lucky me got to shoot this fantastic wedding! They had their reception at the City Museum in St. Louis! Its such a fun place! Thanks guys, for a beautiful day!

Playing Catch-up

WELL!! I finally got around to doing some editing of a lot of photos from my weddings this year and also while second shooting or assisting. All but a few of these were taken while second shooting for Greg Lappin or Dan Watkins. Fantastic photographers and wonderful friends for letting me use these images (Thanks guys!). One of my best friends ever got married a few weeks ago and she let me do some fun bridal/family shots afterwards. She's so beautiful and we had this great farm to work with (and a 4wheeler!) so I knew they would turn out great!
